DEDICATION This version of Nuer Hymns Book is dedicated to the missionary pioneers (members of the American Presbyterian Mission) who brought Christian Faith to the Nuer people since 1912. Although they are not physically here with us, nevertheless, are close to our hearts. May God bless them all. PREFACE The compilation of this edition of the Nuer Hymns Book was the work of the Presbyterian Church of South Sudan and Sudan, particularly, the Nuer Congregation in Juba after obtaining the approval of the Headquarters of the Presbyterian Church. The Congregation was inspired by the desire to have a one comprehensive Hymns Book that encompasses most of the songs contained in the current different hymnals used by the Nuer churches at the moment. It also incorporated some songs which never appeared in the previous books. The purpose of this book is to provide the faithful with a guide which is useful in their worship of God.
